MISSION
STATEMENT- Philadelphia Chapter, Womens Caucus for Art
As an official chapter of the National
Womens Caucus for Art, we support and uphold their mission statement
and by laws. In addition, our chapter is committed to creating a support
network for women in the visual arts in Philadelphia and surrounding communities.
We strive to increase awareness and recognition of women in the visual arts
through our exhibitions, lectures, publications and other educational programming.
As an official chapter of the National Women’s Caucus for Art (www.nationalwca.com), the members of the WCA-Philly are part of a nationwide network of women artists. Philadelphia members are invited to participate in exhibitions and other opportunities offered by chapters in the other 26 cities that are part of the National WCA.
Our meetings are free and open to the public. They are held the second Wednesday of every month, 6:30 pm. Our meeting locations vary, please refer to out Announcements page for details. For more information about the Philadelphia Chapter, please contact phila_wca@yahoo.com.
