A short newsletter this week, being that Thanksgiving is upon us. Since there's less news to relate, we thought it might be nice to throw in a holiday bonus link, to an amazing French web site that allows you to take a virtual tour of the caves of Chauvet-Pont d'Arc (there's something vaguely comforting about seeing these magnificent paintings from some 30,000 years ago -- perhaps they are a reminder that we humans are an enduring and resilient lot). So here you go, and don't get lost: http://www.culture.gouv.fr/culture/arcnat/chauvet/en/index.html
