Zoe Strauss was born in Philadelphia where she grew up and has since centered her career. Strauss uses Philadelphia as source for her vivid and poignant photography, where she has connected community and art.
This exhibition was organized by PRODUCE Exhibitions, a group of young artists curating dynamic art projects.
About the Gallery
The mission of the Exhibitions and Public Programs department of Tyler School of Art is to explore and encourage experimentation in artistic practice and interpretation. The department provides a platform for young artists for the production and presentation of their work and a forum for the larger community to examine the most recent developments in contemporary art and their relationships to broader cultural contexts.
