About the Exhibition:

Opening reception: First Friday, March 2, 6 - 10 pm

Joe Capobianco is an established, refined artist in the field of airbrushing and tattooing, as well as co-owner of Hope Gallery in New Haven, CT. He utilizes various techniques and mediums in order to create some of the most fascinating pinup style pieces, resembling those of the late 1950s with an added modern flair. This style has directly correlated to his tattoo work as well, winning him numerous awards time and time again, throughout prestigious tattooing events and conventions. Joe is also featured in Abrasions, a beautiful collection of skateboard art published by Presto. Trinity Gallery is happy to host this exhibit of Joe Capobianco's art, and signing of his second published book, "What's Not Ta' Like".

About the Gallery:

Trinity, one of the latest additions to Philadelphia’s arts district, is a gallery devoted to exhibiting unique and uninhibited contemporary art. We show art that defies genres, as well as erotic, lowbrow, feminist, political, pop, and tattoo/ hotrod culture inspired work, from both established and emerging artists. Our mission is to showcase art relevant to modern society, that which defines our current culture. Gallery Director and artist, Genevive Zacconi, has been curating shows and exhibiting her own work since the age of seventeen. She imparts a passion, respect, and appreciation for art created by first hand experience as a creative professional. We feel that the care and consideration we provide for our artists and their work is unparalleled. We tailor our atmosphere to reflect the respective artists we show, the exhibition and presentation is an art form to us. Our opening receptions, held on the first Friday of each month, are an experience not to be missed. The “Trinity” is what occurs between our artists, us, and you- the collector.
