3rd Street Gallery is a not-for-profit cooperative of professional visual artists. The membership, made up of both men and women, is dedicated to establishing a climate of equality and inclusivity for all artists working within the visual arts community. 3rd Street Gallery members work together as a network of support and encouragement to help foster individual artistic achievement and growth.
Members are provided with opportunities to exhibit at the Gallery and at other venues. The Gallery promotes participation in university, museum, and other forums which contribute to a flow of ideas, information, and criticism.
The Gallery is made available to outside artists and institutions,
including juried exhibitions, exchanges, invitational exhibits,
student exhibitions, poetry readings, music, and performance art.
We strive to impact on the local community in the broadest sense
of the word "ART." |
