About the Exhibition
Opening reception: Friday, October 23, 2009, 6 -8 pm
Oasis is an artist-run program working with adults with mental disabilities. Through this program students are empowered to realize their creative potential, improve their quality of life, and gain life skills. While the work produced at Oasis is considered "outsider art" their students are encouraged to use high-quality materials and are taught many techniques and forms of artistic expression. |
