About the Exhibition

Opening reception: Saturday, December 10, 5 - 7 pm

2005 Thesis Candidates for the MFA in Painting at UArts are Diana Manousos and Lee Millard, Sculpture Candidates are Erin Boyle and Romy Scheroder, and Ceramics Candidates are Mary Barette and Damond Baine. The Master of Fine Arts programs in ceramics, painting, and sculpture offer artists holding BFA or BA degrees a studio-based experience providing the conceptual, critical, historical, and practical knowledge needed to sustain a successful contemporary studio. As low-residency programs, they are designed specifically to accommodate students\' employment schedules and to meet the needs of those living beyond the Philadelphia region.
