The Destruction and Creation of Man is opening in conjunction with the 44th annual NCECA conference happening in Philadelphia this coming week. The installation includes a variety of pieces in ceramic sculpture, video, and digital collage created in conjunction with a performance he orchestrated and filmed this past fall at the Menantico Ponds area in New Jersey. The work draws heavily on mythological themes which Mr. Lenker has interpreted using personal idioms and syntax.

Pageant : Soloveev was founded in 2003 by artist Daniel Dalseth with the intention of bringing a fresh voice and perspective to the Philadelphia gallery scene. Since the gallery's acclaimed debut in October 2004, Pageant: Soloveev has consistently presented some of the most exciting and best contemporary art to be seen in Philadelphia.
