Philadelphia has the honor of being the year
2000 host city of the Republican National Convention. To celebrate
this event, The Clay Studio asked independent curator Gail M. Brown
to create an exhibit of a political nature. In her words: Artists
have always been visual commentators who mark their time and place
from their creative and life perspective. This invitational offers
a visual forum to social, political and environmental issues expressed
passionately in clay. The work promises to reflect personal points
of view and strong concerns.

Information
The Clay Studio is the only non-profit organization in the Delaware
Valley solely dedicated to education and instruction in the ceramic
arts. It serves as the primary resource center for professional
clay artists, beginning and advanced students, and ceramic collectors
throughout the region.
