About the Exhibition
As part of NCECA 2010, CCA is pleased to present Inland
Seas and Mythical Travelers. This is an exhibit of highly
detailed work by local clay artists Joanne Taylor Brown and
Peter Quinn, a study in contrast between hand-built forms
and wheel-thrown construction.
Inland Seas and Mythical Travelers is one of 95 exhibitions
that are part of INDEPENDENCE: The 44th Annual National
Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) conference taking place in Philadelphia from March 31 - April
3, 2010. The Clay Studio, Philadelphia, PA is serving as the
onsite liaison and organizing body of the exhibitions program.

About the Center
Cheltenham Art Center nurtures the creative spirit of the
community through individual instruction in the visual and
dramatic arts, exhibitions, and theater performances. The
center is home to the Clay Guild, the Printmaking Guild, and
the Action Arts Theater.
