About the Exhibition

These two exceptional Philadelphia-based artists,
Hiro Sakaguchi and James
Rosenthal, will display new work that speaks directly of the
world around them and how they perceive it through the lens of
a modern-day artist. Both artists have very unique and specific
visions and yet this show will highlight some of the themes and
ideas that all artists must work through.
About the Gallery
Allens Lane Gallery mounts
exhibits by local artists each season from September through June.
They include various media such as painting, sculpture, photography,
and mixed materials. Each show opens with a wine and cheese reception.

In July, the Center reviews submissions
and chooses exhibits for the coming season. To be considered for
a show, interested artists should submit 3-4 photographs that
are representative of the work they intend to show and a resume
or artist statement to the address at bottom of page between June
1st and 30th. Photographs will not be returned until September.
Decisions are not based on when materials are received (i.e. early
submissions are not given priority).
