Opening reception: October 4, 5 - 8 pm
Group installation by artists Maria Anasazi, Abdelkrim Djennas,
Francesca Pfister, Beth Pulcinella, Sarah Stefana Smith, and Bill
Sneed.
From a path through the earth made of buried books speaking of
loss, to collaged window boxes with re-imagined meanings, from
wheat-paste figures testifying of the struggle to restore common
access to water, to an organic sculpture created from objects
found on site, from a search for the destiny of contemporary fossils
made from abandoned metal, to gates as metaphorical crossings
into the unforeseen, this outdoor installation is a conversation
among six artists and their explorations of higher forms
