In Gallery Siano's effort to focus on the abstract and non-representational, theyare showcasing another medium, photography, and the diversity in approach and perspective conveyed by these five photographers.

Janette Bradley Smith uses sensual and subtle hues in her close-up intimate encounters. Sun and wind, shadows and light, merge to shape peaceful landscapes. Elements often considered deterrents allow for new insights and moments of discovery.

Architectural references, repetitive structures, and geometric shapes define work by Gary Koutsoubi. Hard-edged linear structures suggest enclosure conceding to serenity and freedom. Rigid lines give way to
suppleness and graceful motion.

Rose Mackiewicz captures moments when color and texture collide to form a kaleidoscope of drama and illumination. Paint and sculpture are prevailing elements. Her use of light and focus lend found objects a sense of the transcendent.

Using the visual and physical bulk of one of the very first computers, Benjamin Pierce’s photographs portray the mystery of communication and interaction within the external world, and the inner sphere of
inspiration and imagination. The soul, of otherwise lifeless raw materials, reveals the beauty of ideas in motion.

Deborah Raven closes in on objects to find their beauty. Reflections add vastness to the objects, as they appear to glow from within. A world emerges of light and line, texture and color. Simple objects are
transformed into the abstract and mysterious.
