About the Gallery
LMAKprojects, founded in 2004, is dedicated to supporting and developing artists’ careers. In its commitment to meet the rising needs of artists LMAKprojects compiles a program of exhibitions with international allure, focusing on inter-disciplinary practices, creating interactive situations and collaborative ventures.
Since 2005 LMAKprojects operates from two spaces: one in Chelsea (main gallery space) and one in Williamsburg (project space). The exchange between the two spaces creates a very vivid atmosphere and a hybrid program.
Known for showing film and video art LMAKprojects also presents works in other media: drawing, painting, photography and sculpture by artists from all over the world. |
