Print Love-In
Create your own Valentine cards and learn about printmaking at the sixth annual Print Love-In, the Fleisher Art Memorial’s Valentine’s Day printmaking workshop.
Learn about relief, silkscreen, collograph, letterpress and lithography printing all in one place. Artists/printmakers will be on hand to help the public create cards from a variety of Valentine images designed by Philadelphia artists including Candy Depew, Marta Sanchez, Elaine M. Erne, Charlotte Elsner, Sarah Pohlman, Miriam Singer, Kathryn McFadden, Megan Fentzloff, Aaron Igler, Kelly Cobb, Dan Byers, Caitlin Butler and more.
Attendees can take a break from printing to participate in a raffle to win one of ten sets of original fine art Valentine cards by participating artists! These cards will include envelopes and postage.
Print Love-In 2006 is organized and sponsored by the following contributors: the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial, Fabric Workshop and Museum and The Print Center. Supplies have been donated by the following: Fabric Workshop and Museum, Taws Presentation Plus, Renaissance Graphic Arts, Inc., Utrecht, Dick Blick, AC Moore, Unisource Philadelphia, DiBruno Brothers, Anthony’s Coffee House, and Whole Foods.
