As part of the Philadelphia Print Collaborative's November festival,
Celebrating Prints and Printmaking: In Homage to Dox Thrash, InLiquid.com
will present an exhibition of works by four member artists who work
in a variety of traditional print techniques, including woodblock,
monotype, and etching.
InLiquid Prints: featuring artists Sara
Lee, Sara
Myers, Heather
Rippert and Kae
Taniguchi will be on view on the second floor of the DiPalma
Restaurante & Bar at 114 Market Street from November 2, 2001,
through December 21, 2001.
The Philadelphia Print Collaborative's November
festival will include exhibitions and events throughout the Delaware
Valley, and is set to coincide with the Philadelphia Museum of Art's
long-awaited exhibition Dox Thrash: An African American Master
Printmaker Rediscovered. The print festival will explore the
influence of this pioneering Philadelphia printmaker in addition
to showcasing a broad spectrum of contemporary prints and print
