Vince's ROMANBLOG features the video series, “Artists Varied Stripes,” shot on the streets of Philadelphia and in the inner sanctum of the artists’ studios. He has taped over 20 artists, artisans, musicians and other artistic people from his home state of Pennsylvania and beyond. His documentary shorts have also been broadcast on DUTV, Drexel University’s cable channel as well as New Century TV on the web.

Coming to film making as an abstract painter and former award winning art director, Vincent brings a unique perspective to capturing the story of fellow artists both visually and in his approach to interviews.

His most recent 30 minute movie involved 5 wood turning artists and a scholar from Canada, Australia, Ireland and the USA in a program called the International Turning Exchange. For the past 11 years the Wood Turning Center in Philadelphia has hosted this residency program and have included a photojournalist resident to document the experience. Vincent was chosen as the resident for 2006 and created an intimate look at the way the artists worked and how they saw their host city of Philadelphia during their 2 month stay. The program culminated in an exhibition of work created during the residency.
