An opening reception was held on May 3rd to unveil the artists work, and open the bidding. The chairs are currently available to preview and bid on via silent auction. The proceeds from the auction of the chairs will benefit Habitat For Humanity and InLiquid.com.
Each winning bidder will receive a $100.00 dane decor gift certificate!

The premise is to partner the Art + Design scene in Philadelphia by having several established local artists create their art on a chair from dane decor.

InLiquid.com, a Philadelphia-based non-profit, shows an extensive online collection of work by local, national and international artists, while serving as a comprehensive hub for visual arts information and resources. InLiquid also nurtures the creative community through a continuing series of non-virtual art exhibitions and events.
Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia builds and rehabilitates houses and neighborhoods by providing simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with families in need. Habitat works in partnership with prospective and existing homeowners, volunteers, donors, community organizations and all those who can help reach these goals.
dane decor is a family owned and operated home furnishings store serving the Philadelphia area for over 30 years. It currently has three locations. The original flagship showroom, located in Downingtown PA, was recently destroyed by fire and is in the process of being rebuilt. dane decor is scheduled to reopen their new showroom in the Spring of 2007. A temporary showroom is due to open in July of 2006 in the center of Downingtown.
