Einat Arif-Galanti, born in 1975, graduated Hadassah College in 1998 with a degree in Photography after a long interest in the medium. Starting as a medical photographer, she freelances and teaches photography. Her many exhibitions in Israel include the Israel Museum, Ramat Gan Museum, as well as galleries in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Internationally, her work has been included in exhibitions in Japan, Paris, Greece, and the United States.

About her work:
Arif-Galanti's work explores the borders of beauty, as it meets ugliness, kitsch, banality, and tragedy. These photographs of everyday household kitchen scenes utilize a variety of everyday objects to symbolize the present moment in time and place.
