ABOUT THE ARTIST

Tim Wagner earned a BFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, in 2001 and an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004. He also completed a CGCA fellowship at Wheaton Village in the spring of 2005. Tim was invited to speak at the 2006 G.A.S. Conference as an Emerging Artist. His work has been in a number of group exhibitions including shows at The Philadelphia Art Alliance, The Museum of American Glass in Millville, NJ, Anderson Gallery, Richmond, VA, Moore College of Art and Design, Philadelphia, PA and Wexler Gallery, Philadelphia, PA. His work has been published in the Glass Art Society 2006 Journal, New Glass Review in 2004, and Art Matters in June 2003. In a 2003 review, the New York Times described his work as “intensely provocative…seductive yet repulsive.” Tim currently lives and works in Philadelphia, PA.
