Vivian presents Algebra (The Restoration),
a series of photographs printed by the artist originally taken by her
grandfather in Afghanistan in the 1930's. Pageant

Colette
Copeland has been awarded an award
for Distinguished Artistic Achievement and Commitment to Education at
the prestigious Arad Biennale in Arad, Romania, which screened two of
her short experimental video works,
Worm Belly (2002) and Crow’s
Tale (2003). The Biennale featured 210
artists from 50 countries; Copeland was one of only 17 American artists
included.
Nancy
Agati's work is in two current exhibitions:
Patterns, Rhythms and Cycles at the Mt.
Scott Art Center in Portland, OR, May
19 - July 29; and in the
Gateway National at the Farmington Museum
in Farmington, NM, May 14 - July 16.
In May, her work was also shown in Art

Colette Copeland has been awarded an Art and Change grant form the Leeway Foundation to produce a CD and catalog for the exhibition, which is scheduled to travel to India and Bangladesh in November as part of an International Festival protesting violence against women.
Delia King and Louise Barteau-Chodoff have both been selected for the 40th Street Artist in Residency program. The six- month residency in West Philadelphia is scheduled to begin in April.

Clarity
Haynes' work will be featured in the
film The Breast Cancer Portrait
by Vitamin D. The screening is part of the 6th

Kathryn Pannepacker has been sponsored by the Mural Arts Program to create a mural at Girard and Belmont Avenues. The finished piece, celebrating textiles from around the world, will measure 7 ft by 297 ft. The project is being worked on in two parts and will be completed in the spring of 2005. Kathryn has also received a Leeway Foundation Window of Opportunity Grant to participate in a nine day weaving workshop at the studio of Jean Pierre Larochette and Yael Lurie, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Amy Orr has been featured in an article by Robin Rice for the winter issue of Surface Design Journal. A detail of the artist's piece Twist Tie Quilt #5: Blind Stitching is the cover image for the issue.
