Silent Auction Bidding Instructions
Silent Auction bidding begins Friday, March 4, 2011 at The Clay Studio. Final bidding will take place at the Some Like It Hot! Auction and Gala at the University of the Arts on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Bids close at 8:30 pm.
Advance or absentee bids may be placed through this website by filling out all fields in the form below and then clicking "submit". Please submit an opening and a maximum bid. To be a successful bidder, your maximum bid should reflect your level of interest. Bids offered below the minimum bid will not be accepted.
Upon receipt of your submission, a Clay Studio employee will contact you to verify your bid. At that time, The Clay Studio will require that you give a valid credit card number with expiration date. This information will only be used in the event you are the successful bidder.
If there are competing bids, Clay Studio staff will increase your bid in increments up to, but not exceeding, your maximum bid. The Clay Studio staff will act as your agent and attempt to secure the piece on your behalf at the lowest possible price. You may call 215 925 3453 x 13 until 5 pm on Friday, March 11, 2011 to find out the status of your bid.
To assure you are the winner of a given item, "Assured Buy" bids will be accepted at any time. Bids above the "Assured Buy" price will not be accepted, once an “Assured Buy” price has been offered. If a bid higher than the “Assured Buy” price is offered before an “Assured Buy” price, the higher bidding price will be honored.
Live Auction Bidding Instructions
Live Auction bidding will only be held during the Some Like It Hot! Gala and Auction benefit on Saturday, March 12, 2011.
